Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 Specifications Review

Samsung has announced their latest Tablet, the Galaxy Note 8.0 on the Recent MWC 2013 (Mobile World Congress) which is said to be the newest rival of Apple’s IPad Mini. Note 8.0 at the first glance looks so attractive because of its slim and shiny build design. If you have noticed, Note 8.0 is a super sized version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2.

Note 8.0 are gearing up by an 8-inch touch screen which features a resolution of 1280 x 800 that gives sharper and accurate graphics to display, yet the Google Nexus 7 has a bit better display compared to Note 8.0 because it has 189ppi. In terms of build design, it has good cuts, curves and edges plus the slim body that provide us a better grip while using it.

It is powered by 1.6GHz Quad Core processor and mashed-up with Mali-400MP GPU that give a speedy performance in running heavy apps. PIPO M9 Specs Review: First Tablet to run Rockchip RK3188

PIPO is well known and has a good reputation in manufacturing such quality PC Tablets yet with an affordable price. One of their newest products was the PIPO M9, a 10.1 inch IPS capacitive touch screen and it is powered by the latest Rockchip RK3188. If you were not concern about the brand of the product you will definitely love the performance of M9, because obviously PIPO is not popular brand in the Philippines.

PIPO M9 is sporting a 10.1 inch High Definition IPS touch screen display. M9 is the first tablet that is powered by 1.8GHz Rockchip RK3188 quad core and it run with the latest Android 4.1 Jellybean. Gaming using this device is made better because it is integrated by Mali 400 quad core graphics that will give a better graphics performance and it is also fuelled by 2GB of RAM for a smooth multi-tasking. Based on its Antutu Benchmark Test, M9 got a result of 18,500+ which proved on how M9 is powerful tablet that can be compared to other tablets in terms of internal performance, that could definitely outshine them totally.

This tablet is not good only at gaming but also in capturing pictures, it offers 5 megapixels at rear camera and 2 megapixels at front facing that made video calling even better. The big question here is “how’s the performance of M9 in terms of battery life?” Well, M9 won’t disappoint you because it is packed by Lithium ion 7800mAh that could last for about 15 to 18 hours of normal usage.

Overall, PIPO M9 is perfect tablet for a gamer because of its beast internal specs it has. The only downside for “ME” was its design which is too simple as well as its screen size. 10.1-inch is too big for me. It would be better if they create a mini version of M9, 8-9.7-inch will be better. It is worth $249 which is a decent price for the performance you can take.

Samsung Introduced Samsung Galaxy Star and the Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo

After Samsung released their extraordinary Smartphone with exceptional specs, they just recently announced two new handsets, but this time, the two devices are in line with the entry level Smartphone. Samsung unveiled the Samsung Galaxy Star and the Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo which are almost identical to each other in terms of specs and appearance and hopefully as well as its price.

Both handsets are packed with dual-sim capabilities, they have also the same screen size which is 3-inch QVGA screen. In terms of internal processors, Samsung Galaxy Star is powered by 1GHz processor while Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo has 850MHz processor but both of them run the latest Android OS which is Anrdroid 4.1 Jelly Bean and fuelled by 512MB of RAM. They are both equipped by 2 megapixels rear camera. It has 4GB of internal memory and expandable via microSD slot.

Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS are all present in both handsets, yet Pocket Neo has digtal compass whereas the Star doesn't have. They are packed with 1200mAh battery, which is good enough for a whole day of working.

Cherry Mobile Hyper Poster Leaked

After Cherry Mobile released their two high-end Smartphone’s which are the Cherry Mobile Flame 2.0 and Cherry Mobile Omega HD, It seems that they are now ready again to bring out another android phone. When I visit the wall of Cherry Angel, I just saw a leaked picture of a poster that shows their newest Cherry Mobile Hyper, an affordable android phone.

Based on the picture above, the next Cherry Mobile Hyper offers a 5-inch Capacitive Touchscreen screen display, so obviously Hyper were their fifth Phablet. It is powered by 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Dual Core Processor and runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich but the RAM as well its Battery life was not yet indicated on the poster. Hyper is even good as capturing device too, because it offers 5 megapixels at rear camera with Flash and VGA at front facing camera.

Based on its design and specs, Cherry Mobile is a bit similar with the looks of cherry Mobile Titan because of they are both 5 inch and the slight curve on its edges while the specs was an improve Cherry Mobile Thunder.

So if you want to experience to have a Phablet without paying to much, I hardly recommend the cherry Mobile Hyper, because this handset is worth Php 4,999 only! Plus, it has a free jelly case on its package.

Just few days ago, Cherry Mobile, one of the biggest local electronics company in the Philippines has officially blown out their latest device which is obviously outshined other local smartphones yet it is affordable. Their newest device was called the Cherry Mobile Omega HD, a 5-inch HD IPS with 1GB RAM and 12MP Android phablet.

The Omega HD was the upgraded and more improved version of Omega because of some various issues that users have experienced. Thanks to Cherry Mobile because of upbringing again a quality kind of smartphone yet with an affordable price because Omega HD’s price tag is worth Php 8,000 only!

This smartphone is really interesting right? Well let’s have a small review about Omega HD. It is boasting a 5-inch HD IPS Display which gives a brighter screen display and better viewing angles. Omega HD does not have a stunning screen display but it also have scratch resistant Dragontail Glass and water resistant. It is powered by 1 GHz Dual Core ARM Cortex A9 with the latest Android jellybean and fueled by 1GB of RAM that multi-tasking experience will be better.  One of the downside I noticed was its GPU because it only has PowerVR SGX531 that’s why some of HD Games is a bit laggy while playing.

Another edge of Omega HD was its camera performance because it offers a 12 megapixels BSI Camera which is the same with the built in camera of Starmobile Flirt. It also have front facing camera with 2 megapixles, which is perfect if you use the video call feature. You can interact with your online friends by using either Wi-Fi or 3G Connectivity. It is equipped by 2,100 Li-Ion Battery which can last for about 1 day of working.

Overall, Cherry Mobile Omega HD is competitive in line of Phablet category, starting from its design until its internal processors all were superb and exceptional and the price is even affordable.      In short it is worth to buy because of the latest specs that was used that will give the users a full blast of experience.

It is almost 1 month ago when Cherry Mobile finally unleashed their most awaited Phablet that bring a big disappointment into their fans because of the  specs that didn't meet the level of expectation of their fans. This Phablet was called the Cherry Mobile Omega.

Recently, a leaked picture of a phablet spread on the cyber-world that give an idea to the techies that the leaked photo will be the upcoming Cherry Mobile Omega HD, hopefully that it will boast a 5-inch Dual Core with 1GB of RAM and 8MP Camera. At the first place, it is the upgraded version of Omega but it is 0.2 inch smaller. If you were familiar with Lava XOLO A1000 (you can Google it if you want) the build design is purely the same on the leaked photo that's why techies tends to come up with a scheme that it would be probably the Lava XOLO A1000. This concept is possible because most of Cherry Mobile smartphone are re branded only. 

What If?

What if the Cherry Mobile rumored device would be the the re branded Lava XOLO A1000? Well, this will be a satisfying deal because most of us are eager to seek smartphone's that is equipped by 1GB of RAM and the price will definitely not too pricey  If this rumor will happen, my perception is it will be popular as Cherry Mobile Flare.

Just a week ago, Cherry Mobile teased us their newest device to be release that no one knows whether it is a smartphone or a tablet and I even try to make some wild guesses with their upcoming device and unexpectedly most of it were right. Cherry Mobile just recently released one of their most surprising and impressive device to outrun.

The device that made the Cherry Mobile fans amazed was their newest Cherry Mobile Fusion Bolt, a 7-inch HD IPS Display with Quad Core and 1GB RAM Tablet. Fusion Bolt comes up in a premium specs which we might think that the price would be a premium too, well kick off that concept because Fusion Bolt is worth Php 3,999 only! that will definitely outshine its competitors. Honestly, this device is the cheapest Quad Core tablet I ever known.

Cherry Mobile Fusion Bolt is boasting a 7-inch with HD IPS Display and 216ppi which is not bad if you will view it on different angles. It is powered by a shocking 1GHz Quad-Core which is its major edge, but according to some user of this tablet, they experience lags and sluggishness while using it but still they can play most of the HD Games. It is fueled by 1GB of RAM that made multi-tasking better and it is even spiced up by the latest Android OS which is the JellyBean that enable you to enjoy thousands of apps and games at playstore. 

Fusion Bolt featured a Dual Camera: 2 megapixels rear camera and VGA Front facing camera. You can even connect with your online friends through WiFi connectivity and can support microUSB OTG. LG Optimus G Pro is Confirmed: a 5.5-inch Quad Core with 2GBRAM and 13MP Camera

This Week, LG just recently revealed one of their premium smartphone which they called the LG Optimus G Pro. This event was set at South Korea, in which they also unveiled the initial specs of this smartphone. LG Optimus G Pro is boasting a 5.5 inches, 1.7GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM and 13 Megapixels Camera.

The design of this handset was the groundwork of today's famous Google Nexus 4. At the first glance, you will definitely notice its stunning Full HD 5.5 inches screen display and also the perfect curve edges that LG called as 2.5D effect. Its outside appearance scored perfect to me, a very stylish and premium design was set to this smartphone. 

Interface and Build Design is not only the exceptional attribute of Optimus G Pro but also its breathtaking internal specs. It is powered by 1.7GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor which is the first Quad Core to hit the United States and other countries. Torque DROIDZ Dash: a 7 inches Single Core DualCam Android Tablet worth Php 3,699 only!

After releasing the Droidz Race, Torque just recently announced on their Facebook Fanpage their latest entry on their Tablet PC line up which they called Torque Droidz Dash, a 7 inches Single Core Dual Camera Android Tablet. I just noticed that the recent names of tablet that Torque produced are connected with speed, in which it might symbolize that their tabs can perform with a great speed in affordable price.

It offers a 7 inch screen display and powered by 1.2GHz Single Core Processor, well obviously this tab is not for qualified for gaming section. It is fueled by 512MB of RAM and runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich that allow you to enjoy thousand of apps and games at Play store. 

It also offer Dual Camera; 2megapixels rear camera and VGA Front facing camera. After taking your pictures, you can directly upload it on your Facebook, Twitter or Instagram because it has Built in WiFi Connectivity. While reading comments on their fan page, most of the comment I saw was saying that, why Cherry Mobile Blaze was chosen to have the first Jelly Bean OS update. Why not the best selling Cherry Mobile Flare or their first ever Phablet, the Cherry Mobile Titan? Well, even me I don't know the reason behind it. Its either Blaze has a greater potential compared to its line up because it was titled to be the SIII look a like or Blaze have bugs that need to trim. Whatever reason for that, lets just hope that after Blaze, the next update is for your phone.

So what's after Blaze Update?

Well, definitely it will have more changes such as the smoother performance, you will noticed that your default browser will be the Chrome and also the new Multi-Windows Multitasking. Some bugs are automatically fixed. So, if you have weird problems that you encountered with your blaze, I recommend you to visit their service center for an update. Just don't forget to bring the receipt as your proof.
