Shine Bright Like Starmobile Diamond: Review, Specs, Feature and Price

Recently, Starmobile, the newest maker of quality Smartphone’s and tabs in the Philippines has finally unveiled their newest entry on their Phablet line-up. This Phablet was named as the Starmobile Diamond, a 5-inch HD Dual-Core with 1GB RAM and 12 megapixels camera. It was announced on their Facebook fanpage and Twitter account.

Starmobile Diamond was being compared to the newest Phablet of Cherry Mobile which is the Omega HD. Some of the critics said that Diamond is better than with Omega HD while some of them have an opposite idea in terms of build design, processors and price. Well, let’s have a short review about the Starmobile Diamond.

Starmobile Diamond offers a 5-inch HD IPS display in which you will definitely love the brighter and more vivid colours to display while playing games and movies and added by 294ppi (pixels per inch) that the gives a better viewing angles. What I love with Diamond is it has Dragon Trail Glass Technology that made the device scratch resistant in fact, it is 6x more stronger than with other ordinary Smartphone screens.

It is powered by 1GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6577 processor with PowerVR SGX531 GPU and runs the latest OS which is Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean that enable you to enjoy thousands of apps at playstore. It is fuelled by 1GB of RAM in which the multi-tasking would work smoothly. Its camera has a great capturing performance too, because it is equipped by 12megapixels rear camera and 3 megapixels at the front facing camera. If you love mobile photography, Diamond would fit to your personality. The battery has Li-Ion 2,000mAh which is at the borderline because it can last for about 6-8 hours of continuous working. But if you are not a hardcore gamer and a heavy internet user, this phone would last a bit longer.

If you were asking for its price, this device is worth Php 9,990 only! Too pricy right? But in the package, there is an 8GB memory card which is for FREE! So the price is still reasonable. Diamond is available in two colours; black and white.
